The role:

We’re looking for an experienced fundraising leader to bring fresh thinking and a passion for developing innovative marketing propositions to drive new donor acquisition, and to retain and grow existing donor relationships.
The Head of Individual Giving will be responsible for the acquisition and retention of individual donors (one-off and regular giving); growing long-term, sustainable, and diversified income streams that deliver their strategic goal of increasing annual income through transformational giving. This person will lead the Individual Giving team with two direct reports by living the ChildFund values, providing clear measures of success and developing the team to their full potential.
You will need the following:
- 5+ years’ marketing and/or fundraising experience – preferably experience in individual giving acquisition and retention programmes
- Ability to think strategically and understand the donor journey
- Understands how to derive insights from data in order to identify donor segments, develop propositions and plan campaigns
- Experience developing marketing plans, forecasts and completing post implementation reviews
- Confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders and managing external agencies i.e. tele fundraising, face to face and advertising
- Strong, motivational, and inclusive leadership style
- Fresh thinking and willingness to try new things
