Grants Manager for Tim Bray Theatre Company 

Established in 1991, Tim Bray Theatre Company is Aotearoa’s longest running professional children’s theatre company with a much admired focus on accessibility. Dedicated to inspiring audiences through the power of imagination, they make world-class theatre for children aged 3 to 10 years and their families. Their Youth Theatre programmes unlock the imaginations of children and teenagers helping to ignite the creative minds of tomorrow. As a registered charitable trust, they rely on donations from individuals and funding from organisations to ensure they can continue to deliver their programmes.

Purpose:

The Grants Manager is a key role, you will need excellent writing and communication skills to run the funding calendar of applications and accountabilities, completing on average 70 applications per year, with KPIs of $600k. The role reports to the Artistic Director.

We are looking for someone who has the following experience:

  • 3+ years in a similar role with proven success
  • Maintain the funding calendar and complete applications and accountabilities on time    
  • Ability to tell compelling stories as part of the funding applications
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with Trusts and Foundations
  • Coordinate the data entry and reporting process of all funding applications and outcomes to understand the results and to improve on performance
  • Be proactive in seeking new Trusts and Foundations both nationally and international with appropriate funding criteria

This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work from home and in the Takapuna office. The salary for this role is $80-85k pro rata depending on experience.
