The role:

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Lead is responsible for driving the strategic growth of several critically important fundraising areas for Starship, including major gifts, trusts and foundations and corporate partners. The role will secure, set, and monitor budgets and targets, in line with the overarching fundraising strategies, whilst developing and managing strategic relationships both internally and externally.

This role reports to the Head of Fundraising and is a key member of the broader fundraising team, managing four direct reports across the Major Gifts and Corporate Partnership teams. The Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Lead will lead the philanthropy and corporate partnership programmes, oversee sophisticated prospect strategies, and report on the progress of agreed performance indicators.  

You will need the following:

  • 8-10 years’ experience of corporate, major gifts and grants fundraising
  • Experience developing multi-year fundraising strategies and converting prospects into donors
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Significant experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders

This is a newly developed role in a professional fundraising team and an exciting opportunity for a senior relationships fundraiser who is passionate about Starship’s work.

This is a full-time role that allows for hybrid working, with three days a week in the Grafton office.
