The role:

The Individual Giving Specialist – Acquisition reports to the Individual Giving Manager and is a hands-on role managing a multi-channel portfolio to acquire new regular giving supporters.

This role requires a good understanding of best practice in fundraising including face-to-face and telephone marketing, and onboarding donor communications.

You will need the following:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an individual giving fundraising role
  • A good understanding of regular giving programmes, including donor communications
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build relationships with fundraising agencies
  • The ability to adapt and problem solve as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience moving legacy donors through the pipeline to achieve organisation’s KPI’s and fundraising targets
  • Understanding of donor database CRM systems, ideally Raiser’s Edge

This role could be at the intermediate or senior level. Save the Children is looking for a motivated fundraiser with experience in regular giving programmes. This person will be a vital part of the Fundraising and Communications team, and have responsibility to building positive relationships to maximise the return on fundraising investment.
